Two LD images disk which contains various librairies and Python installed can now be download.
Usefull to:
- test Python or any of these libraries very quickly and easily.
- use these libraries and Python on a system where no ODS5 device is available or on which you can't install these software using the VMS command PRODUCT.

The first one contains:

LibGD V2.0.33
GDChart V1.1.4
LibXML2 V2.6.20
Libxslt/Libexslt V1.1.12

installation:
$ unzip jfplib0001.zip
$! which extract jfplib0001.dsk

If you only want a process installation

$ ld CONNECT jfplib0001.dsk lda1:
$ mount lda1: jfplib0001
$ @lda1:[000000]lib_logicals
$! this only defines process logicals names

or If you want a system wide installation:

$ mount/system lda1: jfplib0001
$ @lda1:[000000]lib_startup
$! this defines system logicals names

The second LD image contains:
Python V2.5.2
Webware V1.0
MoinMoin V1.5.8 and V1.6.0
Mercurial
installation:
$ unzip jfppy0010.zip
$! which extract jfppy00010.dsk

If you only want a process installation

$ ld CONNECT jfppy0010.dsk lda2:
$ mount lda2: jfppy0010
$ @lda1:[000000]python_logicals
$! this only defines process logicals names

or if you want a system wide installation:

$ mount/system lda2: jfppy0010
$ @lda2:[000000]python_startup
$! this defines system logicals names

then you can verify your installation using:

$ @python_vms:setup
$ python
Python 2.5 (r25:51908, Dec 11 2006, 10:43:31) [DECC] on OpenVMS
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> exit()
$

You can use any ld device number, lda1: and lda2: are only used as examples.
